If you’re from Lancaster or have spent any time here then you’re probably aware of the art scene within the city. And on top of that you probably have an opinion on the young artists that can be seen performing on the streets and filling up the cafes. Whether that opinion is good or bad it’s hard to deny the fact that these young artisans have become an integral part of the lifeblood of the city. But, what is it like to be in their shoes in a place where opportunity is abundant if you dare to reach for it? That’s what series creator and lead actress Shawna Stoltzfoos hopes to capture with Young/Lancaster. A six episode miniseries, Young/Lancaster follows main character Harriet Beiler as she struggles, albeit sometimes comically, through success, lacking money, and general life conundrums. The Lancast’s David Moulton is the series producer for Young/Lancaster so in a fun switch up he takes a turn on the other side of the table as a guest for this episode.

Young/Lancaster premiers with a red carpet event on August 23 at Zoetropolis Art House. The premiere is sold out, but tickets are still available for showtimes on August 24th & 25th.
