If you listen to the show often, you already know our good friends Jason and Steve of Wood Stove House. For those of you who may be “just tuning in”, Wood Stove House is a creative think tank that looks for ways to promote and produce performing arts opportunities in our local community. WSH has two upcoming events, one this coming weekend, that you’ll definitely want to know about if you’re in or around the Lancaster Area.

Firstly, Wood Stove House is launching Creativity Con, a conference “calling on a diverse group of creatives” to jumpstart and inspire creativity, and to provide networking opportunities for artists of all genres. The conference will be held at The Candy Factory, 323 N. Queen St. in Lancaster, and will run from 9am-5pm.

Secondly, it’s time for another round of 24Hour Plays! With such an overwhelming response to last year’s production and a sold-out show, WSH is looking forward to this year’s rendition. The performance will be held at Community Mennonite Church of Lancaster on Saturday, November 3rd, 2012 at 7pm.

Jason and Steve give a detailed account of how they pulled off last year’s event, and what we can expect to be different this time around. Come out and support Lancaster’s performing arts!
