After a year-long hiatus, Mike Witmer is back with his web comic Pinkerton, in its all-new digital format. This is Mike’s second visit with us here at the Lancast, and he stopped by to tell us what he’s been up to lately. For those of you who aren’t familiar with Pinkerton, it’s an adult comic strip about four forest animals, Buckley, Tucker, Steve and Martin, who have lots of mishaps and adventures while going about their daily lives. Witmer’s drawings are reminiscent of comics such as Peanuts and Calvin & Hobbes, but they also carry a style all their own. Mike explains the process by which he constructs a comic, and some of the things he’s had to adjust to after switching to the new format.

For an introduction to the storyline, visit www.gocomics.com/pinkerton, and check out the website here to purchase merchandise or support the strip. As always, thanks for listening!
